Top effort mate.

Gibbs. Collard and Houli would be excellent picks. I would be VERY happy with that. Hislop ans Mackay would be solid selections as well.

Regarding the selection of Goldstein and Currie: It is well known that we need a ruckman. However, I cannot see us picking up 2, especially seeing as though we will pass on our final slection, number 83, because we will pick up Cain Ackland in the PSD. Would be happy to select Mackay at 51, and Currie at 67. If he lasts, Goldstein could then be selected as a rookie.

Otherwise, very nicely done. Have you considered putting it on the D&T board?

Good job, St Kildonan! Just a couple of track changes for you to consider.

considering varsamakis didnt go to either state or draft sessions im tipping he will have little to no chance for a rookie let alone getting drafted....

Good stuff mate, but I don't think Port will take two key defenders. We will probably take a midfielder with either our second rounder or third rounder.

considering varsamakis didnt go to either state or draft sessions im tipping he will have little to no chance for a rookie let alone getting drafted....
Thanks for that

Note taken.

Great work StK - think the Saints will go with 2 mids, then 1 KPP, then 1 -> best available

I reckon they need an in and under mid as well though..........

:thumbsu: Swap Leuey and Selwood around and it's fine

What makes u think Port will go with Selwood ahead of Leuenberger and Sellar? Have you heard something? Not sure I can see that happening.

Rumours and taking a look at their ruck stocks. Way better than most clubs, particularly with recent draftees. Selwood will give them a good midfield for 10 years. It's the one think they lack imo.

I heard next to nothing about Selwood going to Port and I agree he would be a good fit there, I just think Port will rate other players higher, and target a similar player to Selwood at #23. Is Selwood #5 in your phantom draft at this stage?

Thanks for the comments guys, especially sinepari and macca69 whose work on the Drafts and Trading board shows that both of them are "in the know" with regards to developing talent.

I will do a final mock draft after the picks are finalised.

"David O'Leary" why do you think that West Coast will take four small/medium sized players when they have traded/delisted three or four tall players ? I think that the Eagles will draft at least one tall player.

That's a pretty good effort mate, and i don't think you will be too far off the mark with a lot of selections.

From a Carlton perspective:

Gibbs
Collard
Hislop
Houli
Goldstein
McKay

You have pretty much described my personal wet-dream scenario for Carlton, that is about the best result we could have IMO. If it happens that way on draft day i will buy you a case of Grange :D ;)

That is correct. He will wait another year. Carlton will take him under the F/S rule next year.

Thanks a lot for that guys. :thumbsu:

I will make amendments.

Carlton already have 20+ players 190+cm

(Comparison = Saints have 12)
Four are mids/flankers (Walker, Raso, Bannister, Kouta), three are rucks and Bannister, Saddington, Kouta, Bryan and Mclaren might all be gone in two years time.

I'm pleased with our first three picks and it appears we'll get another four good kids for the second year in a row. But I just can't see Carlton drafting four mids with their first picks even though our midfield is terrible. Great to see another opinion but I hope two clubs make surprising picks early so we get first dibs at what's left.

I'd grab the best available bottom aged ruck or KPP with pick 35 and 51 if we've drafted three quality onballers early.

And no ********s. ;)
