I recently stumbled across this really nice tumblr showcasing stadiums around the world.

Really shows how horrible AAMI is in comparison to most other venues, and how awesome Adelaide Oval is going to be. Also, there is some amazing food on offer at stadiums around the world, Whickerco have a lot to learn. Makes the cold chips and square pies look exactly like they are.....shit.

Yeah, shows how bad AAMI is. The reflex reply from lots of people is 'but the US/Europe is so much bigger'. Forgetting that a lot of these brilliant stadiums are in cities of comparable size to Adelaide.

Oh, and the food. I'm drooling even though I just had a snack. Yeah they are artery hardening, but the food in general you see offered in US Stadiums (from TV or looking at sites like this) compared to ours . Man I swear that the big scandal about Visy, was not the price fixing, but that they signed a secret 50 year deal with every stadium showing AFL to provide cardboard painted to look like food, with them getting half the inflated profits from it.
