If the same blokes come on here bagging the same players I'll fair dinkum spew up! It started with Luke McGuane dropping an uncontested mark at the top of the goal square and it never got any better.

Kudos to Richo, Cuzz and Mitch for never giving up. The other 19 blokes have all made a very strong case to be dropped. Don't bother pointing fingers at Tambling or McMahon - they were all terrible.

Devastating result tonight. As an unbiased viewer of the game (I hate both teams), three things stood out;

• Appalling disposal has not improved in five years under Wallace
• Where are the new leaders of this club? Does Richo have to play til his 40?
• Why was Foley played as a run-with player alongside Murphy. He's the most attacking player in the team and normally gives your side a spark.

Disappointed for Cousins doing a hammy. Didn't deserve that.

hey guys sorry to troll. Look I'm sorry to say this but a couple of your guys out there didn't play for the jumper at all. They went through the motions that second half. I mean it just looked that they wanted the game to finish.

However, saying that Mitch Morton is a player for youu guys showed so much same with the Richo man he just a plainand simply a star and their wouldnt be a player in the comp I would rather see in win a premiership that didn't play for carlton. Honestly happy we beat you guys but hey you gots us one more time this year. Lets hope it is a close game.

Gloss over the fact that our first goal was missed by a veteran who should have had the experience, concentration and skill to put it through.

We actually had hope this year which makes it all he worst. 45,000 members adn probably 50,000 tigers in the crowd and what do we get? The same old crap.

I enjoyed the build up to the season but I honestly have already lost interest. The best fans and worst club in the AFL seem to have a magnetic appeal but the team is crap.

I felt sorry for Morton and always exclude Richo even when he is not great but the rest are crap.

Theres always next week... In Geelong... Mate you obviously haven't been watching Richmond the last 7 or 8 years. We have been supporting them through the rough times, It's just the fact that they haven't gotten any better in that time, at all. Still poor kicking and decision making.

That's just a bullshit excuse, and I am sure some Richmond fans on here wont be making excuses like this. Every player in every team wants to play in big games, and every fan wants to see their players stand up in the big ones where it counts.

Yes they played crap. But seriously, those two Deledio kick ins were just nervous errors. I think there were about 10 turnovers that resulted in goals.

The upside is Richmond can play better than that. And to cry about having another wasted year when it's only the 1st game of the season is a bit defeatist.
