Andreja has been chilling on my ship for 100 hours while I finish Sarah and Sam's quests. I have a flashy penthouse apartment in New Atlantis though so I might just Sarah there full time and only go in to visit when I need emotional security buff.
Wow... didn't expect you to be like that... player 😎

Congrats!!! Happy for you guys.

Starting the infiltrating the Crimson Fleet mission with Sarah as my follower. Her acting as a bad guy is hilarious. The CF must be dumb af because she is the most unconvincing scumbag ever. .

Those missions are funny, getting arrested & then getting into the CF doesn't quite work when you have a companion tagging along the whole time like it would be normal.

I think it was those missions where I was going into some place that needed security clearance. They'd check mine and then mention something about my companion must just be clear to go through too then. It was weird and I'd prefer they just pretended the companion didn't exist rather than to to acknowledge and bring attention to it

i have taken over a pirate ship, had it for a few days now, but there are dead pirates that I killed lying everywhere still in it

anyone know how to move them? first world problem I know

On Xbox holding Y (pick up) will pick up an item. Might allow you to drag bodies. If you're on PC, assuming nothing has changed in the control scheme of things I imagine holding E would be the keyboard version.

That worked ( Xbox) many thanks!

This might sound really dumb, but how can you carry all the resources to build outposts? I've seen some video of a guy building an outpost and he has hundreds of every resource available to build, he's surely not walking around over encumbered by 1000s.... And ship cargo capacity is not that high or is there a ship you can get that carries a shit load?

Possibly a ship with huge cargo (you can make your own in ship builder or for instance my bought ship has over 2000 capacity) or he has storage with extractors on site. Maybe even a cargo pad that brings materials in from another outpost. There are lots of ways other than just carting it all around on you.

I walk around with 30t at a time after a big crafting session. You can’t die from being encumbered, health goes down to 10% and stays there. Just run to the ship, enter and you can fast travel to sell it.

Once you setup outposts though with links, ships transport it for you and all resources at your outposts are available to build stuff plus your ship cargo. I’ve got 9000 cargo plus 100 mobility & decent guns.

I just discovered that the ship I stole off the Crimson Fleet is the Tardis. I docked at The Den, ran in to sell any contraband the game reckons I have (I don't), run back to the ship... go through the docking port, run down to the cockpit... and I'm in New Atlantis. Head back to the docker port, still connected to The Den. Go through just to make sure... yup... it's the Den.

Jump back in the ship, go to the landing bay hatch... Jemison. jump out, it's definitely New Atlantis.

This is the way that I am going to be setting things up. And hopefully we get the ability to create concrete pads soon. I've just started my second play through. I am going to go heavy into the planetary habitation skills ASAP so I can build mining outposts that feed into simple manufacturers and so on... finally getting to a central warehouse type area.

This playthrough, I took the dream home perk... and that's the planet I am planning on setting up as my central warehouse facility.

Also... this update is taking forever to download right now :(

So I didn't abuse any credit glitches because making money from selling gear I find or resources always made more than enough, but I did reguarly loot the puddle in Akila for ammo. That has been patched. RIP 😒
Outposts are your friend, more money than you need.

I still find it hilarious that Bethesda use hidden vendor chests. Surprised the space game doesn’t have swords & bows too.

I still think this is actually pretty funny. Somebody decided a long time ago on this approach of assigning chests to vendors and populating them with objects rather than manually coding a collection system and nobody since has ever managed to change this. It's probably easier for their level designers to drag and drop inventory this way without having to know a single line of code. But you would at least add in some sort of protection like a bool to stop the player from being able to interact with it lol.

Yep same, was my ammo depot.
