you have explained nothing...

no name.
no club.
no sponsor.

Until you do. its not interesting at all.

C'mon Bernie

Save the player anymore hassles, just name the club,
why else would you post it????????????

I thought that maybe the word may have been around the streets already. Now, in saying that, I did say the club was "around Hobart" (not in Hobart). Doesnt leave many to choose from does it;)

this is painful... :thumbsd:

not in hobart... so rules out hobart and north hobart!

Is it so hard just to tell us who?
You obviously want to otherwise you wouldnt have mentioned anything in the first place ;)

sounds like last year when hi-vis labour hire (major sponsor of the kingborough tigers) sacked cameron blight (then coach of the club) mid year. hi vis stayed on for the rest of the year anyway.

can anyone tell me about a player named Daniel Crow, played for nth Launceston and Launceston has now moved to Melbourne and been training with Sandringham in VFL.

How many teams in the south, that are in the SWL are not actually located in Hobart. AND, after last year, is an up and coming club???

Is Hi Vis still sponsoring Kingborough in 2009?
Just wonder if they'd still be in a position to now given a few recent events.

Not so sure on that one? You would have to question the value for money sponsoring a club in the new sfl, compared to statewide coverage the tsl would give.. They prob dont have the $$ anyway given what happened at incat. Tough times

It's probably Lauderdale, who sponsors them now?

Lauderdale is suburban Hobart, or S.E Suburban Clarence city to be exact. They have poor facilities at this stage, but are doing a fantastic job to improve themselves to SWL levels. They rate with Kingston for junior development & as a future prospect. I dont know why Hobart was included being so close to North Hobart & having poor junior development prospects being inner city, when compared to Kingston?

Hobart is on the up to, bear in mind our junior teams have only started in the last 3 years. Hobart covers the same zone as Kingborough would have, so that makes no difference really.

Re: New AFL TAS website

Some great innovations relating to Tassie footy can be seen here on an AFL TAS website I came across http://www.afltasmania.com.au/

Is this for real?

Ha ha, I clicked it on expecting to see some eyesore like the old website, had to rub my eyes twice to work out what exactly I was seeing!

Wonders will never cease!

But when does AFLTas tell the public that we start this thing next Saturday? With a $2mill budget you would think think they would show some confidence in their product & advertise the SWL mark 2? Do they want it to fail b4it starts? Who runs this puppy? Who cares about this puppy? Does AFLTas?

AFL Tasmania. Accountable to no-one and never will be until the clubs make them.

Until the 10 TSL clubs, 12 SFL, 6 NTFL and 16 NTFA clubs unite and kick out the current administration or at least delist little Hitler then nothing will change.

We all talk about it but at the end of the day if nothing is done then accept more of the same.

I challenge the 44 Presidents to take charge, rid the cancer and take our game forward.

Too many fence sitters that lack the balls to confront the issue.

Duff............... agree with you, there ignorance in starting the SWL, we will do this, we will do that together with all hoop la. Now we havent heard boo out of them, same could be said about the start to the SFL which is only 4 days away. whos playing who??? and were????

On the other point the presidents have enough to worry about, start of season, finances not mention the start of a new league, that should be there only priority. ( keeping there club alive ) at the moment
