OK. Great win on the weekend by the boys, all be it a win we needed to have to show any progress over the past few years!

JK showed some good signs, altho still was occasionly a bit sloppy out in front when leading hard towards the ball. Murphy continues to impress!
Walker, simpson, houlihan, betts, thornton all seem to be taking giant steps foward and repaying the faithful that have stayed true to the blues ( were quiet a few not there on sunday!!!)

However, we are going to lose quiet a few games this year and these kids will have some shockers - comes with the inconsistency shown in many young draftees. I think it is now we have to stay positive, look to the future and not jump on every mistake that is going to happen over the next 15 rounds.

Lets hope every Carlton supporter who can comes down to our next home game and supports the club when it is needed, support the young kids in their development and encourage the senior players to keep perservering (some seem to continually drop their head.)

Big men like Kennedy take 3 to 4 years to mature into genuine footballers. Last week against Collingwood he played 50 minutes of footy at most.The more game time he's given the better.He's very talented and will continue to improve,have seen him play at East Fremantle and loved taking pack marks and also breaking packs open in the forward line.The future would be Murphy to Kennedy for a goal.
