Went to Squiars Loft last night actually. Had a ribeye. would have been a good 6-7 cm thick cut.

Got it done medium, but would say it came out more on the rare side. Was still magnificent.

Steer bar and grill in South Yarra is brilliant as well.

Why you ignore my PSN invite?

Not sure when the last time I even turned it on. Have been looking into buying a new game to play, but just don't know what. Want something that I can sink hours into.

Just had myself a scotch fillet. Was quite rare and I enjoyed it. I just took a punt on a cut that looked like it had a bit of fat the middle and it cooked up well.

Had a side of potato wedges, skipped the veges as couldn't be bothered :p

I should've taken a photo with my phone. Somebody else can beat me to it. Lets see your steak!!

Never trust a man who drinks cheap beer. Never trust a man who eats cheap steak.

If you're going to buy steak you make sure it's a bloody good one.:thumbsu:

Exactly right.

I would say I check out the steak on offer at the supermarket often but only actually grab one to buy 1 in 5 times. If nothing looks good enough I don't bother.

Anyone who has their steak above medium rare does not really like it

I'd go further. Anyone who likes their steak medium to well done should not be commenting in this thread!
Heres the steak I had when I was at Sammy's @ Glenelg a couple of weeks ago. Medium rare of course.

She does a better job than I ever would.
My Wife cooks mine on a pan that hasn't been heated up then at medium heat and all I end up with is stewed, grey meat that tastes weird. I cook my steak on a very hot griddle pan where I turn my steak after 3 mins and let it rest for 5 mins.
Safe to say that the Mrs has been instructed to leave my steak uncooked if I am not home at dinner time.

On cut, I love scotch fillet but have lately been buying grain fed rump that the butcher cuts up for me and it's amazing.
