Couldnt find a thread on this bloke so i'll start one, with all the kudos AJ is getting at the moment and rightly so this young fellas last few weeks and his game last night, 18 disposals, was brilliant and shouldnt go unnoticed!!

He is as tough as nails, and as cool as a cucumber under pressure, how about the hanger!!!??!! Good defensive side of his game also! Lacks a yard of pace but he's quick with the brain and i reckon he's going to be a very good player for us! Absolute gem pick up in the 30's, good old fashioned footballer!

Absolutely loved his game last night. Hard at it, attacks the footy. Tackled great. And it was fantastic to see him burst through a few packs last night...I remember a great clearance in the final quarter.

love the way he goes about his footy, these are the kind of players we have lacked in the last year and a half, just that nuggety back pocket.

Sounds like another Bentick by the descriptions. B - R -O-W -N ...... - E is much better than that.

By the way, isnt AB now in the Bullants Magoos?

Bentick has quite a few deficiencies.

Browne doesn't.

He's not a star mind you...but a good member of the back 6.

Much more versatile in the body than Bentick, see hanger last night for example. Can compete in the air unlike Bentick and while not lightning would be quicker than AB. So yeah he has much more upside than Bentick.
 
He really looks at home, so hard at it, not afraid to take the game on or even jump and take a hanger :thumbsu:
He won't get dropped, because he epitomises everything that this young team needs moving forward, and will have when it holds #17 aloft..
Just love the way he plays!

Really impressed me last year and I was surprised that it took him so long to crack a game this season, particularly after his form in the Ants. A genuine tough nut who's got a lot of composure when he gets the ball though he is prone to the odd turnover. If he can improve that part of his game he's got the makings of a genuinely good footballer. Excellent mark and can play a variety of positions. Certainly doesn't lack any courage.
 
I love his composure under pressure. Especially in tight boundary situations where there seems to be no way out - he finds a way and makes use of the ball.
