Played a little under a quarter during the VFL's last outing.
Isn't one who needs a whole lot of match fitness in him, as evidenced during last year's return from injury.
The fact that Gardiner was named ahead of him on the emergency list for the match against the Weagles suggests Charlie has the inside nod ahead of him at the moment.
That being said, with a few changes probably due this week, I wouldn't be surprised if he suited up.

I'd prefer him to have a full game in the VFL this week,then bring him in.
If he is painless , play him. He can kick more goals unfit than some other can after a full pre season.He has shown before he can look ordinary in the V's and not get the ball but once put in he hardly ever has failed to score.
