King is a liability to the team ATM, it must be embaressing for him putting in insipid performances week after week. He has got to be dropped, but not to the ressies but to get his body right as he is definately carrying some injury, a fit King would not put in those sorts of performances. The GFC have got to be responsible for his @#$% poor performances - not the man himself, I don't doubt the size of the guys heart he must be feeling gutted right now. Even if he doesn't play the rest of the season something must be done NOW! Mooney is more than capable to cover King - as we all saw last year.

I would've left Byrnes in and had someone like Tenace emergency.Tenace then would've come in for Ottens.

SJ should've come back via the VFL.He's hardly played any games [6 or 7,including VFL] all year.
I would have had Byrnes in too, unfortunately he wasnt an emergency. In hindsight his pace & tackling would have been useful on the weekend opposed to Dog who was in no way match fit

Byrnes should of played, rahilly is just a joke, i don't care what anyone saids it shows how bad the club is going if he is getting a game, King is a big enough liability and having rahilly in there as well makes things worse

Not only was SJ lacking match fitness but it was replacing a tall with a small. There was no team balance and with King's efforts (that's being kind) in the ruck this year bordering on insipid we had no decent ruckman playing. At least Blake would have made a contest at the ruck and had some idea of what he was doing. Going in with Mooney and King was always going to end in disaster.

I read or heard Bomber saying there would be no change of captaincy next season, that King provided more than on-field performance (which he admittedly hasn't provided a whole lot of this year) - wonder whether he will stick with this thinking.
