To me though it’s seems hypocritical to be ok with it while he’s playing well (boys will be boys), then all of a sudden he’s a cancer and needs to be cut out.

Yeah, he’s probably a crap bloke, but it is also appears retroactive to suddenly tip him out for past offences.
