Seems like this boy is raring to go. For obvious reasons he didnt have a great season last year, hell he hardly even played. How many more years do you think Stevo has left in him? He is such a fantastic player. The only negative I have about Stevo is, he does tend to just get rid of the ball sometimes without getting it to anyone, you know the cry "who too". Another one of my favourites.

Why didnt those bloody smiles come up. Oh well you will just have to pretend they are there. Wouldnt be Stevo if he didnt have a smile on his face.

Yep, dead-set legend is Stevo. Not the most naturally skilled player around, but he works as hard as anyone, goes in without fear and tries his guts out. Shit we missed this bloke in 2000, if he's fit and firing he will do more than just fill the gap left by Peter Bell's departure.

Darky have a look at one of the posts on the Official forum at North, he is obviously fit and firing, they refer to him as one of the new kids, here's hoping.

Stevo is a dead set legend. He is and always will be an all-time favourite of mine. However, I disagree that he is not the most skilled. I would say "unfashionable" rather than "not the most skilled". I think his skills are terrific. Quick hands, lovely kick and can take a strong grab. My thought also is that I didn't care if he ever played again after his horrific accident. Just the mere fact that he is still alive with us is an absolute miracle. Playing good footy to boot - just says what sort of stuff the bloke is made of. Not to mention, he is a ripper bloke as well. I get offended when people speak negative about him - that's how much I admire him.

What can you say about Stevo that hasn't already been said?? He is one of my all time favourite players. The only concern I have, is that I hope he has fully recovered from that horrific injury last year, if he has - can't see why we wouldn't get another 2 - 3 years out of him.

Stevo is an absolute legend. Never met him but comes across as a top bloke. Never forget his performance against Brisbane in the 99 prelim, in hte 2nd qtr when things were shaky and then to get up and play the following week.
