I never doubted the fact he had the ability to still play AFL football...for **** sake I'm an Essendon supporter, every time we played Port, he would rip us apart.

The only question mark I have over him, is whether he is anywhere near fit enough to allow him to have an impact throughout the season. Still looks very big.

I also saw a young Michael Newton manhandling that fat sack of lard like it was play-doh.

Dew is shit. Hawthorn are not a top four chance and Franklin is a protected species (on and off the field).
 
I thought he was very impressive today. The way he just charged through the pack and kicked the goal, he was unstoppable. Even Nietz tried to flatten him but came off second best. Everytime he gets the ball the supporters yell out Deeeeeeeewwwwwwww. Nice touch. He could have been called Doooonnnnnnuuuuutttttttttts. Great first game Dewy.
 
Stewart Dew! What a bomb! He is what every wants, he is strong, experienced and is what I call a great player. He aint fat anymore either, Id love to see you (Poidacat) live in America for a long time and come back as fit as a stick.

Face it. Demons are shit. Favourites for the spoon by a long way, even with Carlton tanking half the season, you can't tank out a team that is that bad.

Interesting, if were not a top-four side but still spanked your side by the best part of 18 goals, doesn't say a lot for your mob does it:o? Enjoy the season from the ski-slopes, it's probably the only place you will stay sane.
