The other day Windows Messenger started to sign me in automatically when I connected to the net. It for some reason just started to sign me in automatically when I connected, but since then it has been doing it every time.

I have also unchecked to "Run this program when windows starts" box??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unwritten_Law - The "allow automatic sign in when connected to the internet" is only in my MSN Messenger.

Not Windows Messenger unfortuately...

Thanks for the help though.

Easy one..

To stop Windows Messenger from signing you in automatically
You can do either of the following:

If you are not already signed out of Windows Messenger, on the File menu, click Sign Out.
In the main window, click To sign in with a different account, click here.
In the Sign in to .NET Messenger Service dialog box, clear the Remember my name and password on this computer check box.
—or—

Go to User Accounts in the Windows XP Control Panel (to open Control Panel, click Start, and then click Control Panel).
On the Advanced tab, click Manage Passwords.
In Stored User Names and Passwords, click Passport.Net\*, and then click Remove.
This does not delete your Passport, but removes its connection with your computer.

Click Close, and then click OK.

Note

If you select Remember my name and password on this computer in the .NET Messenger Service sign-in dialog box, you will re-establish a Passport connection on your computer.
