The other day i was at a event, where there were a couple strippers. A few days later i was in one of my lectures and saw one of them sitting a couple rows down from me.
How much do they really make.
Has anyone thought of making a career out of it.
Why do Prostitutes need a pimp. Wouldn't it make more sense to work for themselves.

Ranging between almost nothing to $5k per week and maybe more. Depends on how good they are. That includes looks, body, personality, sales ability, and of course sexual prowess.

Some girls work in dingy establishments and are old and ugly and can't compete with younger better looking girls and therefore get few jobs. Some girls work in high class establishments with wealthy clients and know how to cater to their client as well as milk them for tips.

Has anyone thought of making a career out of it.

Street girls: The pimp controls the territory and a lady has to pay rent to be able to advertise herself in this territory. Paying a pimp gets them more jobs because you're in a better spot.

Brothels: Girls pay a percentage of their jobs (approx 50%) in exchange for a clean room, advertising, a place where customers frequent etc.

1. People don't want to see hookers walking the streets or turning tricks in laneways and parked cars.
2. Brothels are a controlled environment. Safe sex, limited violence etc

If you use a condom you should be right. Here's the disturbing thing though: Plenty of guys request sex without a condom and some girls will offer sex or french without one. You will find that in some establishments that there are girls who do this to get their share of jobs. Sometimes if a girl can't compete for clients on looks she will turn to other means to attract customers.

I wouldn't have unprotected sex with a non-long term partner as it is but having unprotected sex with a prostitute is just ludicrous.

I think the limit is two people working from the same private residence. Luckily most girls boarding schools don't charge for it.
