I will still be optimistic about this season, but I thought things had changed. After seeing us get smashed by the Kangaroos, however, I realise we are playing the same unnaccounatble sloppy, sideways, bomb and hope bullshit football we were playing last year. I will remain optimistic, but I did get a bit carried away there for a while. Reality has come down hard again, and unless a few people pull their fingers out, we will not be a flag threat.
 
We are GFC supporters - we get tricked into believing.....then our hopes are crushed. And we do it over and over and over again.

How many other clubs have offered so much in terms of potential success, whether in GFs or just making finals and left their supporters as long-time sufferers? Or worse - the 2006 season catastrophe! I cannot think of another club that comes near us - and I've been a supporter for a very long time!

Fevola won that 'most goals kicked' medal (my mind cannot remember the name right now as such). And Carlton won the spoon.

Richo beat on the ladder last year, yet are like yet to win. Ditto for the Dees.

So we could be worse off. We could be Melbourne supporters:D :p .
