Sub Leasing

Anyone sub leased for short timeframes without going through the formal real estate process before? Heading OS in Jan & wanted to let my beachside apartment for a month & just wondered if there was any informal platforms anyone has used besides Airbnb etc….

If you’re currently renting, check your rental agreement doesn’t forbid sub-leasing or you could find yourself in hot water if caught.

If you own the property, you take the gamble (might want to look at landlord insurance)?

Not that it’s likely anything will happen though,…
