Which do you prefer.
It may sound silly, but i remember hearing that Macca's were bringing out a chain of clothes/toy shops, aimed at the 3-12 year old market and their Marketing Toll will be ole mate Ronald as well.
They say they are doing this to recapture lost ground in their particular marketplace. This along with their new menu options is their way at striving to be King again.
Personally i went off them a few years back, after learning about how the company operates.
Sure they do good things here and there for charaties and the communities, but that doesnt compare IMO to the damage done by Maccas to our Wildlife/Forests, not to mention the damage done by the Polution of their product.
I remember when i first moved to the Gold Coast, i was watching the sunrise on the beach after a big night in Surfer's.
Was a sensational sunrise, and after witnessing this i walked back up the foreshore where i noticed piles upon piles of rubbish.
Closer inspection revealed that is was manily Maccas and empty alcohol bottles.
I proceeded to pick up the rubbish and when i had three shopping bags of maccas rubbish alone i returned to the store and emptied the contents onto the counter. I remember the manager rushing saying, "what are you doing?", to which i replied, "Im just returning your rubbish."
She said, "It isn't our rubbish!"
I simply said over my shoulder as i was walking out of the store, "It's got your name on it."
No-one followed me or tried to do anything. Albeit it was about 6-7 am. Sometimes I feel bad for doing that as Maccas isnt totally responsible for other people littering.
But back to the subject..
I personally prefer Subway, as it does 'feel' better for me.
But I've had this nagging craving to buy a Big Bucket of KFC chicken for about 6 months now.. Ive never done it, but the day is coming closer....
