Strewth mate, I never, ever thought I'd like a girly pop group - but I actually enjoy a lot of this groups songs.

I consider myself open to any type of music, but just never considered I could like pop - I bought their newer album "Taller in more ways" - and I'm really enjoying a lot of the tracks on it. Have I gone soft?

Meh, anyway, it's a good album and at least they write their own stuff.

They're alright, the kind of music i listen to when driving (don't have a cd/mp3 in my car and have the main commercial stations on pre set and am always flicking between them), but wouldn't buy or listen to at home because i tire of it quickly.

Make no mistake, in terms of pop music (which is quite often unfairly lambasted [though quite fairly other times]) Sugababes are the sh*t.

They make constantly great pop music and have done so over 4 albums now, which is a lifetime for a pop band. Like any band they are guilty of some dodgy tracks but what artist isn't.

Plus I think every few years or so a pop band comes along that even if you are usually embarrassed to say you do, it is ok to like, this is a the Sugababes.

Yeah that's the way I see it. And any pop group that can actually write their own music always get's some respect.

Catchy as hell, and you don't really want to listen to it all day or anything - but tracks like Push the Button are ridiculously well structured. They're trying to make catchy songs, and suceeding brilliantly at it.

I like them as well. Their music on the other hand is pure evil and should only be listened to by those who believe that Tracey Grimshaw is the new GOD.
