Suggestion - Thoughts?

What does everyone think of the club getting Tiger Army scarves made up? One side could read, Tiger army and the other side Richmond FC. I saw in the paper today the City End with a few Collingwood supporters doing it, As much as I hate them it looked alright.

Now imagine the player's running out onto the MCG with a Richmond home game and hundreds or people at the PRE holding up scarves saying Tiger Army or Richmond FC. Then as they are warming up the Grog Squad does the Tiger Army chant with hundreds of Richmond fans holding up there scarves. Would be pretty amazing if you ask me. Doubt it would cost the club much more then $10 to make then if you sell them for $10 and do a promo pre-game telling people to do it. Thoughts?

Not really. The plain yellow & black scarves are fine.
I am a bit hesitant about having 'choreographed' shows of support - they tend to be a bit lame (Think Barmy Army or Famatics). Oh, hang on, forgot the ROAR meter.......

yeah-nah, still thinking about it. I cant see the club doing this, that being the case it would need to be a supporter initiative if it was to get off the ground.

I'm sure if the cheer squad started doing it, im sure you would pick up 20-30 people each game. Give it 4-5 weeks and as more people start doing it and find out about it. They would eventually get 300-400 people doing it and it would look awsome.

I think it would go down well if the profits were donated to the FTF. I'd be keen to get one if they could be mailed to Tassie.

Think it would be better for RFC Official to make the suggestion to the merchandise team for them to be sold from the new Tiger Superstore. With the kicker that all money from them goes to the FTF.

Definitely this. They do have a scarf that is similar to the idea that is being presented already on the store, just without the 'tiger army' side.

I would definitely be interested if all money went to the FTF

Good idea & this is just as good ^ I'd buy one for sure. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only Tiger scarf collector?

Why not something personal? Like your name on one side and Eat 'Em Alive or whatever on the other side? That way its more special as it's not just the standard everyones the same.
And not just for members.

Haha ill leave that to the club mate. Although im pretty sure it would look pretty good against Carlton in a month if half the PRE are standing up with scarves saying Tiger army, Tiger army, Tiger army.

Yeah was thinking about this. Have FTF on one side then Tiger Army on the other. Even if they are a cheap $5-10 scarf and say give the first 500 away then $5-10 after that. Melbourne are giving away 2,000 flags on Monday as apart of some walk they do. PRE leval 1 would hold about 5,000 people for a big Richmond home game at least 4,000 of them would be Richmond. Alot of people holding up scarves.
