Thongs are shit for working in the garden. End up with filthy thongs and filthy feet because they are open. Would rather wear shoes, that way you can take them off to go inside without trampling dirt everywhere. Plus the whipper snipper/lawnmower will always find ways to flick tiny stones, twigs etc. into your feet.

Whipper Snipper. Been awhile since iv'e heard that.
Line Trimmer, Weed Eater, Wipper Snipper, Brush Cutter. Typical Aussies have so many different names for tools.

Reef Sandals were the bomb back in the 90's. Lasted forever and looked good. Reef is shit now and don't last.

FWIW thongs are a hard NO from me. Terrible underwear, so uncomfortable and ugly imho. French cut way sexier. And comfy.

Need a new pair since my ACGs are on their last legs. Been to like 6 stores and all that I tried were uncomfortable. I have been told that hush puppies and crocs are very comfortable that allow your feet to breath. I have found two on Myer's website that seem to have good ratings but is $130 a bit silly for sandals? Or is it a necessity if you don't want to cripple your feet? Any recommendations and what do you wear?

I have a pair similar to the top ones. I wouldn't wear them to work or anything but they're useful if you just want to go down the street for a while and couldn't be bothered putting shoes and socks on. Also handy for a day at the beach. Who really cares what someone wears on their feet? I can't remember ever taking any real notice of someone's footwear. Well I can, but that was work related.
