Max props to players and Dimma and club on getting into the finals.

Big challenge against a hot freo.

But, they're a show, away record improving, and being on the road may amalgamate the team.

Freo have a history of failing, let's see if they have overcome THEIR demons...

Congrats Suns on finally making the finals. A tough season for Essendon ends on a really grim note. Of course their injury problems this year have been well documented, but how good is that list even at full strength?

At the current moment in time i still think Essendon face a longer journey back to the top of the mountain than Carlton, and Carlton themselves are probably another four or five years away from contending again.

Anyway hopefully the Suns will go deep in the finals now. Them or any non Victorian club winning the flag will do more than fine really!😄

The same Freo that beat Bulldogs at Marvel for a finals spot? yeah/nah

Playing Freo at Optus I'll be surprised if GC win.
Freo lost to the lions by 10 goals and GC beat the lions by 10 goals couple weeks prior to that, everyone was writing off Freo against the dogs and look what happened, I'm not saying the Suns will beat Freo but any top 8 side can lose if they have an off night, Suns have beat 3 out of the top 4, solid away record and have the 3rd highest percentage so they didn't get into finals by mistake. Anything can happen from now

I know it's not cool / too old to pile on to Gold Coast.

But this them playing at home for the last time in the season with a first-ever finals spot on the line. And what ... 9,000 people there?

16,768.

Above average for the season (which is the best season in 10 years for crowds).

Not bad for a Wednesday night.
