does ne one remember this game coz i absolutly loved it

i remember i bowled a team out for 3 or 5

one time i got all runouts (coz i did the old take out the wickets then appeal till the run) but 1 was cought and bowled

i got 1000+ in a test (as a final score)

and 500+ in a one dayer

i got a 237 with haliday for australia in a test match

the best shot in the game was the leg glance for 6

the first time i played it it was on normal and i lost by 1 run

ohhh that was a great game

Yep, I remember this game well.

Both the Super Nintendo and normal Nintendo cricket games were superb.

Plenty of bugs, but just the way a cricket game should be, IMO.

PS. If you want to get computer out for less than 5 runs, choose the guy with the worst bowling stats to bowl. When he's bowling, make sure he constantly bowls full tosses, on middle stump.

Computer will be unable to play a shot, and the ball will hit the batsmen; then, you keep tapping the 'How's that!' button, and the umpire will give him out for LBW.

Lovely technique ;)

Ahhh, the memories. :)

I remember bowling out the opposition for 0.

Full toss on middle stump... appeal... Out.

Worked every time.

Haliday was a gun!

Did the computer ever win the toss and elect to bowl first?

Loved the names on NES Cricket ..

G.Swamp, J.Dean, C.McDirt, R.Bruce, M.Ewes, S.Mars, P.Gerrard, A.Boulder.

The game was okay as well - never could properly do a cut shot though :(

***A. Boulder: Allan Border = Obvious
***P. Gerrard: Greg Matthews??? = The player on the game was an All-round spinner but there's no cryptic clue to how they got 'P. Gerrard'
***P. Tail: Peter Taylor = Obvious

The standard cutshot was pish and never worked for me either, but I did find an awesome but risky shot. When the bowler comes in move your batsman all the way to the leg side. Then if the ball is pitched down off, or better yet is a bouncer, hit the ball with an air shot (B-button) to top-left on your control pad. If you make contact you'll hit the biggest six known to man - assuming you still have a NES that works and isn't doing that awful grey screen flash. :D
