Most of you have probably skipped over the thread because A/ it's a MOD notice, B/ it's a sticky and C/ it's locked, but I have started putting together a series of FAQs to add to our board rules, external links and info thread. There are a stack of frequent questions that are asked by people that keep popping up and I've written FAQs on topics as they have been raised over the past few weeks.

Those that are particularly alert will notice that today I've split up the old "info" post in the thread into sub-posts. This is particularly useful as it will allow the regulars to link users directly to the FAQ in question where asked in a thread.

To link to a particular FAQ, right mouse click on the #?? down in the right hand corner and select "Copy Link Location" (that's what it's called in Firefox, no doubt something different in other browsers). All you need to do then, is Paste (CTRL-V) the link that's in your clipboard to your post.

This being my first supercoach year I'm not really sure how i should be approaching the byes rounds.

Should i be saving money/trades specifically for those rounds? Are scores for everyone generally down during those weeks? Do people both sideways trading premo's to keep their scores up?

Just thought a FAQ covering the do's and do not's in regards to the bye rounds would be quite useful. If I've got questions I'm sure other newbies do too.

During the bye rounds the best 18 scorers on your field count.

Yeah i do.

When i click through the byes I have 20 players available for rnd11, 18 players for rnd 12 and 17 available for rnd13.

Good mix, means no trades reqd for 1st week of byes which is a good position

Good suggestion. I'll write something up although strategy moving into bye rounds is somewhat opinion based

POD, donut, cashcow, bubble boy, etc (maybe even FMSCL!) - might be useful to list these for newcomers?

I've added these terms in to a "Glossary". I'm sure there are more that need to be added, so if anyone things of any let me know.

Going by memory it refers to threads created..mids def fwds etc being annual threads and rounds being weekly threads.
it makes mention of the injury suspension thread being weekly.
