Supertab Based Tipping Competition

For anyone that is interested in challenging their skills against others with a Supertab tote odds based competition look here:

No prizes just bragging rights and a bit of fun.....unless someone can up with something for the winner! (not important though)

Based on tomorrows Flemington 15/03/2008 meeting all you have to do is nominate your winner for each of the nine races.

Points will be awarded based on the closing Supertab win odds of the placegetters as per the table below:

less than $2.00 3 2 1
2.00 - 3.00 6 4 2
3.10 - 5.00 9 6 3
5.10 - 8.00 12 8 4
8.10 - 12.00 15 10 5
12.10 - 20.00 18 12 6

30.10 or better 24 16 8

Just put in your selections prior to race one at 12.15pm and will draw up a scoresheet and keep everyone informed hopefully race by race.....but if not at the end of the day.

ps: if you get a late scratching to keep everything equal.....you will get the closing tote favorite.

Anyway it is there for anyone who is interested....a bit of fun!

Race to Race Comments:
R1 - Gee Cupper pick the winner of r1 but still behind.
R2 - All on the board with winner after r2......scr of jukebox helped two of us!
R3 - Firmed into $3.00 at the jump costing me 3pts...lol.....3 out of 3 favs $$$$$$$
R4 - ......the favs continue to roll in......most on the money....sorry cupper!
R5 - New leader with CarltonBlue taking control......first fav to bite the dust
R6 - Lead changes again.........and that now makes five favs for the day!
R7 - mmmmm The Fuzz is hard to catch!.......points are slowing a little now!
R8 - umm! bit embarassing taking that winner due to another scr....sorry!
R9 - 7th fav for the day salutes......and umm I have got home with a bit of help from scratchings and getting (15pts) from two favs winning.

Anyway it was something different....hope you like the concept!


Some tinkering with the placegetters points might have to be looked at after todays results........lessen the points for 2nd & 3rd....but maintain points for the winner.

Anyway will look at it at days end!
