It is with great despair that I read on this board the many negatives from our supporters. It is very distressing that some of you are giving up already.
You need to look at things in perspective. Richmond of 2005 is a far improved outfit of 2004.
We have lost 3 in a row - it is not the end of the world. We have still won 7 games - which is literally double last year. We are still sitting in the eight. We have come from wooden spooner in 2004 to potential finalist in 2005. Look at our fellow cellar dwellars of 2004 - Carlton and Hawthorn. Both are still there going nowhere. At least we will challenge for a finals place this year. We have recruited well and we cannot expect to go from Wooden spoon to superstars in 6 months.
So guys put it all into perspective and realise what has already happened at the club and look at where we are going. GIVE THEM TIME! and please stop the negativeness.

i agree today was pathetic. but he has a point. we have amazingly improved from last years performance. we are still contending for finals. so our heads must be up. we must also continue to give as much positive support as we can. carn the tiges! dont write us off yet, season is far from over.

I did go today and I was disappointed with skill errors and turnovers like everyone but as I said before at least we have improved. I think the players themselves know it is not acceptable but it does no good people dumping on them. Get behind them. Terry will sort out those who are passengers e.g tivendale.

I'm sorry, but today's performance was probably worse then any game last year. Last year I felt as if lost games probably because the players themselves knew they wanted new drafted players in. This year is different. We have young players but we also have a lot playing at there peak.

If they really wanted to play in the finals, today should have been a non-event for the Kangaroos. They shouldnt have bothered turning up. Stuff bloody facts and stats from previous years that they have beaten us and what not. Thats rubbish. I'm sick of the Brown excuse as well, thats really lame.

I understand but, we didn't show any heart or desperation today. Everything went wrong for us though. Maybe we could just concede that it was an off day and we were lucky to only lose by 29pts which aint too bad when you look at how we played.

Against a decent side we would have been smashed into oblivion after this performance. Totally unacceptable some of these skill errors. Not AFL standard and as long as we have tivendale, chaffey, cambpell, and, as much as it pains me, richo in this side we're going nowhere. Richo demands the ball and cracks the schitts when he doesnt get it yet cant kick straight from 30 meters out. Not bloody good enough.
