Now how true this is i dont know but let the rumors begin. A close friend of mine spoke with bill Swann who is Dane swan old man. I personally don't know his old man. And Dane Swann does not get on with Nathan Buckley and it is why he only signed on for 1 year. Now if this relationship heals then he may never leave collingwood, but GWS will likely have a huge crack at him. Time will tell but that is how ablett started when he had a fued with the coach.

Watch This space. I may be a Geelong supporter, I'm not a collingwood bashed or hater but thought I was obligated to mention. This guy told me early in the season that there was an escape clause in the malthouse deal that meant malthouse cannot coach for 12 months after termination of his contract and that he wouldnt be at collingwood next year and that he could end up at carlton or melbourne, which the other half hasnt happened yet but we all no contracts mean nothing, so it's not by a ******* either.

Rumours are somewhat true. GWS are actually looking to recruit Bill Swann (surname slightly differs due to the whole 'Collingwood' thing) in an effort to get Dane across. It's also in response to the BigFooty outcry for our apparent need for older, bigger bodies. Old man Swann is plenty old enough and has also stacked on the kg's in recent years, fits the older/bigger bill perfectly.
