This game is the 1st leg of the 2 leg play-off to make the wc between these two sides. I think it will be a tightly contested even affair. Hope Turkey gets a good win away and then a win at home to take us into Germany. Good luck to both teams, but here's wanting the Turks to win :p Can I have anyone's comments or predictions for this game?
 
I notice a few injuries/suspensions for the Turks, plus the Swiss are unbeaten in their last thirteen games. I stand by my original prediction of a Swiss victory over two legs, starting with a win tonight.

This world cup ain't big enough to contain two nations who sport the red and white as their national colours.

So it is for this reason that i hope and predict that Turkey will give Switzerland a good spanking. An equaling 3rd place or better in next years world cup is not of the question for Turkey, and i will personally be cheering them on the big screen.

It's time we find out which nation truly deserves to don the red and white :p

i hope not, im hoping we can win 3-0 or 4-1 and qualify, but thats going to be tough. it would be a disaster for Turkey to miss out.

In the game on Satdy night, Turkey were missing 4 key players who would be a walk up in the starting 11. Emre, Hamit Altintop, Yildiray and Fatih Tekke. I think Fatih Terim under-estimated the Swiss and tried to get a late goal but it turned against him. We should play a 4-4-2 on Wednesday night with this formation.

Yeah looks good the starting 11, Those 4 players would have helped a lot but thats history now and hopefully on Wednesday we can get through :)

Pathetic from the Turks - like they have never booed a national anthem? Having experienced some of their behaviour at the Australia v Turkey game I'm not surprised.

Would love to see their reaction if the Swiss hang on.

Because no where is safe... Whats wars got to do with violence in football :confused: ..

I dont think so, after what the Swiss done to the Turks, i cant blame the Turks if any Swiss supporters get injured or even killed.
