I have not been worried before a game for years. I have this funny feeling, after seeing Sydney demolish North Sydney, that they will do very well against us. Hope I'm wrong. Hope we can thump 'em.

I love the Swans/Dons games at the SCG. Since the 96' prelim they've always been tight, compelling affairs. My Essendon girlfriend & I have gone up to every one since then (including that one) and haven't been disappointed, even though you guys have won the past couple.

I wouldn't worry too much about your boys next week. They'll be pretty desperate not to lose 2 on the trot and a desperate Essendon is the stuff of nightmares for the rest of us, with or without Lloyd & Misiti. Even though we ran out convincing winners last night we really only got it together in the last quarter. I imagine if we try that on next week, the Dons won't be nearly so forgiving.

As long as it's a game like the past few it'll be ok. And if we actually manage to beat you guys, it'll be really ok.

Providing of course Ansett's planes are up to scratch by Friday!
