Rebuilds of Kogorah, Manly, Penrith and a New ground at Liverpool into 20k “Bankwests” on the cards.

Wonder if this includes the refurbishment of Campbelltown.

Great for the NRL and A-League.

But I thought NSW government were struggling for funds. [emoji848]

Is it part of the recovery from covid thought bubble, 'let the grandkids pay it off' thinking?

Do these venues pull a crowd outside how many NRL games.
Nothing wrong with lazing in the winter sun on a grass bank ... winning helps.

Would say so.

I think it’s a case the NRL know boutique 20k venues are where it’s at for their weekly games in Sydney, looks great for the tv product to.
Marque games I’m guessing will be held at Parra, SFS and ANZ.

I loved my time on the hill at Leichhardt. But the grandstands and corporate setting of these places are woeful, which is why we get the ridiculous notion of 16k crowds at an 80k stadium.

Seeing as they want Wests Tigers to play at the one in Liverpool, I'm guessing not. Campbelltown has had a long history of poor crowds, and they can probably reach more of their fanbase at Liverpool since it's closer to Lidcombe and Balmain.

They want the tigers to merge again or move interstate.
