One player I think should get a mention this week is McVeigh. 18 touches. A lot of them crucial in our clearance domination, and a few nice assists. Plus 8 marks - and they weren't all uncontested cheapies either.

Macca's had a rough trot, and a lot of critics. But I thought he was superb last night. Danniher kept playing musical chairs, and the two injuries also clouded the preferred matchups but I thought he beat just about everyone he was on last night and kicked a good goal. He really freed up Schneider in his running battle with Davey, too. McVeigh seemed to often be the man that went to Davey when Schneider pushed into space and it worked very well for us.

Lukey n Tadhg (I got it rite nat) dats bad luck for doze boiz, hopez we can see em out on da track soona ratha than later. Tadhg's lookz pretty bad, dat scumbag Pickett, hes out der to target da boiz, no good. But da game, we flogged em, dats good work, now for St. Kilda Saints and Carrarra Kangaroos HAHA

Want to translate that into English for us?

Pretty good win, good to see the goal kicking improve.

Another BOG for Malceski IMO.

Hope the inuries aren't too bad.

Does anyone remember a game last year when they shot guns before the game? I think it was Collingwood at TS. I can't remember what it was for..? But yeah, i thought they were gonna do it on the weekend. They had the army people with guns, so they should have done it.

Does this belong on the Pakistan Cricket Folowers Board:confused:
Guns at the footy:eek: There's an idea for when we play Collingwood next!!!;)

They definitely had some sort of guns though, i mean of course they weren't real guns, but they looked like guns and sounded like bullets. This is at the Collingwood game (last year) that i'm talking about. I wish someone else could remember it.. it was pretty funny.

I remember them taking out guns last year at the TS. It was against the Brisbane Lion, and they were commemorating the people in the Vietnam War.
