Can someone explain to me how this type of betting works?? Do you just choose your eight teams then bet a certain amount on them? Or is it more complicated than that?

And does anyone know how the dividends are set?

Its that simple.

Pick your 8 teams that you think will win and bobs your auntie.

Minimum bet is $5.

Dividends are paid dependent on how many people tip 8. eg an easy round where heaps of people pick 8 may pay only $50 or $60, whereas a round full of upsets could be in the hundreds.

My advice would be to go to the TAB and pick a Tip6. I think the minimum return for a $1 would be around $25 so times that by 5 and bobs ya uncle. It is much better.

Yes it is as simple as picking the 8 teams you think will win for the minimum bet of $5

All money in the prize pool is then split up to the winners (with Tabcorp taking out there percentage)

My advice is to play a parlay of all 8 teams that you think will win at a sportsbook. This type of bet will pay alot moe on most occasions.
