Yeah not sure what they think is going to happen to all the jumps horses if they stop racing. When horses are no good any more they get the bullet. Race horses are an investment, not pets. When they stop earning their keep the owners are not going to keep paying for their feed, they are going to wind up the investment before it costs them any more money.

So instead of the three or four dead horses that died racing they are going to have hundreds of dead jumps horses around the place. ****ing idiots.

Did anyone hear what Butch Londregan said he was going to do? Bloody pi55er. He said he's got 10 jumps horses in work at the moment and he's going to shoot all of them, cut there heads off, and send them to Rob Hulls. That'll teach em.

Also, best bet of the year is tomorrow in the BTC cup. Swiss Ace will win and turn the tables on Apache Cat from last year. I have followed this horse from it's first start and it's an out and out star. Even had a little nibble on it when it won the Oakleigh Plate @ $37 earlier this year. It will go straight to the front and nothing will run it down.

Yes very disappointing indeed on Saturday. Something wasn't quite right from the get go. Usually would cross and lead comfortably but when it couldn't do that she was all over red rover. I'm not fussed though, the horse has won me over $10K over the last two years. I'm not sure if something went a miss with him or it's just at the end of a long campaign. Don't worry i wasn't the only one who thought he'd win. Backed for huge money on course and on the tote just before the race.
