Two legs for LH bowlers bowling over the wicket and RH bowlers bowling around the wicket.
Middle to leg for RH bowlers bowling over the wicket and LH bowlers going around the wicket.

I take middle and leg and then bat on off stump.
The umpires in the southern cricket association in Adelaide are so ********en stupid they rarely give me LBW, not realising im batting on off.

I usually take leg but am soon back in the pavillion so it's just a time wasting thing really

a foot outside leg so i can line up and smack it for 6
Top idea that. Next time I bat I'm going to take guard, look up to the umpire and say "I'll have a foot outside leg thanks ump". :D

To be honest, I've got a hatred for batsmen that ask the umpire for anything other than middle. It's pretentious. I bat just outside leg, but I figure if I take middle I can figure out from there where the rest of the stumps are. Blokes who take guard with other stuff are just trying to act like they know something about batting that nobody else does.

I am a really dominant Off Side player, and am hopeless on the leg side, so I bat a bit outside leg for about the first 20/30 runs, then if, IF, I get past that, I change to on leg, when I get my eye in.
