Because it was releif not jubilation.

Poor Moody and Nolen, they look buggerd, they just won Europe's biggest sprint race and instead of celebrating it was just thank god. And Australia feels the same way, it wasn't celebrate just thank god were not embarrassed. Given one of her main Australian opponents is Ortensia who got smacked in a lead up race it may be that the french and Japanese sprinters are closer to her than we like to admit.
