Tall forward lines in opposition sides used to worry me, but not now.

The opposition may see our lack of height and think that a tall forward line will expose us badly. And on occations that is right, but the downside of a tall forward line is that it allows our amazing run out of the backline greater scope. So unless the forward talls are marking everything, as soon as it hits the deck its swept forward by the swans fleet of running defenders.

The only way to beat the swans is to have an extremely accountable forward line who bottle up the game. This is what North did last weekend. The tigers tried to do it, but tried to also play tall (Stafford in the last quarter), which opened up the game, and the swans skipped away.

Cant wait to see what Essendon try to do. This is a game where we could really use O'Loughlan as FF, allowing Hall at CHF which will make Fletchers job a bit harder.
