We have such a big tall forward line , it is a pity that nobody can make a presence down there and take contested marks. Lynch is so big but he just can not mark above his head consistantly. Kennedy is ok if he gets a run at it but his vertical leap is ordinary. Macca looks like he just is totally out of sorts. Is there anybody in our squad that can take a contested mark.

Our midfield sucks but we still need another key foward.

If we get two top 5 picks, which is looking more and more likely.

I think our pick two in the draft we should aim for Butcher Vic Country's star 197cm key foward.

Looks to have it all very natural foward.

Melbounre will have first pick and probaly chose Tom Scully a very good mid.

But good key fowards are so hard to find, so I would want butcher then with our second pick probaly 4 or 5 aim for a mid.

I honestly dont think we need any more tall timber,
I think its time to trade tough and get a decent ready made player to us..

We can't accurately gauge our forward line because the midfield has a very strong influence on the forward line in terms of delivery, frequency, and confidence

I think it's unlikely but I'd still draft mids - unless we got pick #5 and everyone was saying this Butcher kid is top 5.

Build the best midfield and the rest come. I like the look of Kennedy and I think Mackinley has potential.

Lynch and Hunter have no long term place up forward and i dont see them being viable anywhere else. Currently best 22 but they wont be in two years time.

Kennedy has a decent leap and long reach, can take a good mark if the delivery is half decent. No composure going into our forward 50 and our forward structure is still disfunctional.

Our midfield is our problem. We aren't going anywhere until we build a midfield.

I completely agree.

Just compare the delivery that Fev was getting vs what our forwards were getting. Its not like Glass played that badly against Fev but its more that its hard to spoil a mark when the ball is coming in low and laces out right into Fevs hands.

If we delivered it cleanly inside 50, our forwards would look much better. Midfield definitely needs work. Skill level is shocking.
