Just watched some highlights of the game, and even though Tambo didn't rack up the stats, he did some great things, quick hands and kicks which set up goals, but more importantly where he positions himself around the packs when the ball comes in to crumb is great. He will shine over the next two weeks. Bring it on!

I don't think I'm alone in thinking that everyone at the ground had a sense of anticipation whenever he went near it yesterday. Although it was just his first game, and as CB stated, he didn't rack up the stats, you just have this gut feeling that he could do something exciting. Really looking forward to watching this kid get better and better.

Dead right Harvey. If Malcolm Blight was commentating i think he would've said something like;
"Gee....... Yeah...... You just get the feeling............ " ;)

I agree. How creative was that handball along the boundary to a running Pettifer? We have been missing that flair or is it the execution of that flair?

The one to Browny in the 3rd out of the pack was better, buckets loads of pressure, just cooly and very quickly slotted to Browny who in turn slotted it over the umpy's head for 6 more

Watching the game I could tell that everytime the ball got near Tambling, the crowd was just waiting for a goal :D Tambling and Deledio are very, very fast and Meyer is quick too. We will be very exciting to watch when these 3 are up and running.

wow how good are these boards gonna be when we start firing. Its definately foreign territory this winning caper, it'll even make you agree with other posters you normally wouldn't :eek:

Too much love in the house ... :cool:

Equally as good was the little passage he set up during the final quarter where he went in and got a hard ball in the forward pocket and fed out a handball, not directly to Pettifer who would have been tackled if it went straight to him, but out into space ahead of Kane, who ran in and kicked that cheeky goal.

You can't teach that kind of stuff.

Yes I agree, as I said in an earlier post that kinda flair is exciting and has been lacking for us. Shades of one M Rioli.

When you see Tambling and Deledio within 20 feet of each other, you feel pretty confident we are going to win the footy.

What a debut by Meyer. Silky skills. What a ripper tackle in the last quarter.

Class act.

The first goal of the second half where Bowden had a shot, Richo created the contest and Pettifer roved and goaled, Tambling was sitting right there for it and would have had it if not for Kayne being there. Was excellent positioning for the contest, we had him and Kayne in front of the pack by themselves, lovely to see.

Agree totally captain. He directly set up 3-4 goals and like u said, positions himself perfectly when the ball is kicked into the F50. Very excited to see how he goes the next few weeks.

GO TIGES!!!
