I agree with you for once; Tambling disappointed several times today. Did OK but nothing remarkable. Needs to play with the intensity shown in the Freo game, every week.
 
Tambling's a downhill skier.....will only shine when others bring him into the game. Or the team's travelling well.

Someone like Kingy will get a kick when we are down, and he may be the only guy having a crack.......or when the teams on a roll.

Tambling cheats the RFC...

Thats because Tambling has to go in and get the ____ing ball FFS. He gets himself the ball these days in tight situations if you didnt notice and does better than most and weaving us out of it, maybe you were watching the ultimate downhill skier we had tonight who dispite finding the ball was simply atrocious, Jordan McMahon.

Stop making excuses....every player sometimes during a game has to go in and get the "____ing ball FFS". :rolleyes:

Jordy has a crack EVERY game.....that's why wallace got him.....he's not a superstar.......he's no star......but he's in everything......getting hit left right and centre and giving us a presence....a body in traffic. Bling shits himself in traffic, can't hit a target, and is a cat.
Jordy's light frame puts more pressure IN a pack, than Tambling could ever do in a truck. Bling gets swipped out of packs and traffic.

Stop making excuses.....Jordy with his light frame works harder than Bling.
Bling only works offensively.

Watch the damn games.....try going too !!
 
Did anyone notice the little package foxtel had on Tambling after the game when they were talking about how good he is becoming? The hardball gets and clearances out of packs and heavy trafic was awsome. He is still in developement/learning stage, but he realy looks the goods. And his defensive side has definatly picked up this year. Still some way to go, but he will get there. Thank God tools like deliberate arnt on the Match Commitee:rolleyes:

Yeah Jordy great job today, loved your hospital handpases, loved your job on Cyril Rioli taking you to town, loved your straight out clangers.

At least Wallace knows Jordy was an absolute gimp this game, dragging him for being unaccountable more than once and giving him a grill on the phone about it. On ya Terry. :thumbsu:

Hahaha oh stop please. Really just stop. Watch the third quarter genius, he got his hands on everything in the centre when it looked like the floodgates were about to open - got us back into the game. A downhill skier is someone who plays well when their team is on top, we weren't. You're absolutely tragic you are.

That's why going to a game is better than taking you sole source of information from the tube.
Did they do one on how much ground Tambling covers lost and unaccountable? Or the handballs to teammates under the hammer? Or the half ass tackles? Or the Hawks players running away from him, who wouldn't beat him in a foot race normally? That would make foe a pisser of a TV package Bazaar.

Sorry.....I was mistaken.....I thought we got back into the game late in the 1st and early into the 2nd.

Where was Bling a Ling then?......hmmm.
I saw a lot of Foley and Kingy...
Surely I didn't miss Wonder Boy early in the game.

Bling getting his hands on everything doesn't mean it then goes to a fellow Richmond player.......you should know that by now.

Trouble is, you (deliberate) have gone to the footy today having it in for Tambling big time, and waiting (wanting) the mistakes to keep on comming thick and fast.

You have spent the entire time focusing on the things he didnt do rather than the quality things he did do. I bet we could focus on 75% of footballers in the league and pick the same faults.

And what do you expect to achieve with all this rabid hatred of him? Do you think the Richmond coaching staff will read it, and drop him next week, then trade him at the end of the year?

I bet it they did read this they would just laugh at your ill informed, uneducated and ridiculous assessment, then just forget about you forever.

The clearance on the stat sheet is for the bloke running past who gets the hand pass from guys like Tambling doing the dirty work getting hands off to the bloke running past, obviously in Japan you couldn't see the game I assume and are just looking at the stats sheet but take it from the majority of posters on here, he contributed big time.
 
Ive been saying foer a couple of weeks now that Tambling will be our most potent midfielder by the end of this season. This is no criticism of Foley but just how highly I rate him.

His work rate cannot be questioned and his confidence is starting to show itself I loved the play in the 3rd qrtr I think were he evaded a tackle and broke free with the ball in one hand. That mark he took in the forward pocket then went back and slotted the goal was gold

I thought he took a step back after a good two weeks. A couple of shocking turnovers in the first half and despite some good elusive footy in the third quarter he rolled off a few tackles himself over the course of the evening.

Starts behind his opponent too much at stoppages and never gave himself a chance there last night. Tambling is a definite improver but he still looks to be only scratching the surface to me.

Really Wallace and the leadership group, if they haven't already, should chat to him and outline their expectations for his performance because that is what matters.

What Franklin and Roughead are doing is no more relevant to Tambling's performance than what Mark Lee and Kevin Bartlett are up to nowadays.

He is clearly making strides.

I gave him a nice little email politely outlining how irrelevant and inaccurate his rant about Tambling and Deledio was in a Jarryd Roughead article. :)
