Win or Lose... Chris Tarrant will have a 'picnic' tomorrow. I feel it running through my veins, going to be a great day for Tarrant. In the past the Bulldogs have never had a felicitous matchup for Taz, and (consequently), he has run amok.

I hope your bloody right, I said at the beginning of the year that i thought tarrant will have a big year, i hope he delivers tomorrow!!!! Carn the pies!!

Did the best he could today. However still gets pounded by the vultures and gets the same treatment as Rocca even though he was in our top 5 players and Rocca was our worst.

Yep Taz played a lone hand up forward if only he could get his kicking right , Rocca should of been dragged and had Ruz alone in the forward 50 with all the space he needs and Tazza floating around the arc linking the defence to forward.

He would be a star if he could kick straight. There is nothing more deflating that having your forwards miss easy shots on goal.

He ran and ran today, he worked very hard, just never had leads honoured -> Confidence goes down and kicking becomes wayward. He is one of a few that can hold their heads up after the game, worked very hard, and all day too.

yeah Tarrant tried his guts out, rocca was scheiss! Id still want to keep tarrant, as yes his goal kicking isnt great but he does work his guts out.

Goal kicking is something that can improve. What he showed today was that he was willing to run and work hard - signs of maturity? Fev showed that maturity combined with talent translates into success, I'd keep Tarrent on the list.

why don't you add bucks, clement, didak, swan, johnson too you idiot
Dont even try and compare them to Tarrant you fool!
At least Bucks, Clement, Didak, Swan and Johnson HAVE AN IMPACT when they 'try their guts out'!

Tarrant WILL NOT DELIEVER until he changes environment, and that means leaving Collingwood. I want him to stay and kill it, but it wont happen. So pull your head outta your arse and wake up to reality you idiot.

calm down ******** did you knock that women out?

Tarrant hasn't been good for the past 3 years but so what? who are you gonna replace him with? ffs don't say rusling

Automatic assumption that Im a school kid :thumbsu: top call, you'd think there would be better calls.
And Im not calling for Tarrant's head. But you cash in when your product is at its highest value before it drops again. As someone said, 17 disposals and 3 goals, yet we lost by 7 goals. If we keep him, he is, AT BEST, a 2nd or 3rd best tall forward. Because if our #1 tall plays like that and we STILL lose, then we are shyte. I recon Taz is a good player, but a first round pick would be used better to improve other areas of this team, and from the looks of today, there are PLENTY of other areas that need to be improved.
Are you all saying, you wouldnt trade Tarrant for that L********** (ruckman in the draft)?

C3 should've played today, I dunno for who, but we needed his run around the ground, he would've been that option on the wings, because we had NO ONE to go to. Rocca is becoming a liability in my eyes, I never thought I'd say that, and I never thought I'd agree with a Carlton supporter when they said that he only kicked the 5-6 goals against the shyttest defence in the AFL. And kicked that 8 against the shyttest defender at that time. Rusling isnt ready, but we need a big body up forward. Someone who can also run, Rocca cant seem to do that. A Hall or Gehrig type forward.

Yes he misses many shots at goal, but so does Riewoldt and I don't see him copping the constant criticism that Tarrant does. Tarrant runs and works hard, he has chased heaps this season and is moving closer to the age where he should be getting into the prime of his career. Seems stupid to move him on now after investing all of this time into him.

Maybe a new role next season further from goal?

How can you say Tarrant was any good when he kicked points in real time and goals in garbage time. Take a reality check - Tarrant had a bad game. What happens when the match is live is one thing - once you're 50 points down it doesn't really count.

I hope Collingwood keep him.
