Tarrant deserved the punishment for sheer stupidity.

But I have a case of jealousy. I don't have the time for this right now but can someone with a bit of spare might like to research:
  • How many weeks Kerr and Cousins got for brawling at Club Bayview?
How many weeks suspension Q Lynch got for driving drunk and running from the police?
How many weeks Beau Waters missed for tackling a taxi while drunk at 3.00 am in the morning?
How many weeks suspension Kerr got for attacking a taxi driver?
    Anything I've left out?

-Probably seen that since they hit each other, instead of the general public it was passable by the club i spose? not saying it was the correct deicsion just might be the mentality behind it. Anyway Kerr got a very well deserved black eye for what he did, Cousins ended up breaking his arm out of it.
-Lynch was suspended from the club for a week for his drink driving escapade
-Waters from memory missed 2-3 weeks of pre season training with his knee injury after he was hit by a taxi driver, not tackling the taxi
-Kerr probably did deserve a suspension for his actions but none happened.

And to repeat a question already asked, does this mean Taz will be linigng up for East Perth next week? Dear god Bronte and co will be over the moon about that one, just hope it's not South lining up against them next week

Is a good decision

The more we can show that credible community behaviour is important to the fabric of a club as opposed to the arrogant, drug cheating, lying culture next door the better .

Lol - nice to see you pop up every now and then iscah.

Yet again another club goes easy on Tarrant.:thumbsd:

Maybe if your club hadn't gone so easy on him when he was younger he'd still be there winning games for you. If Tarrant so much as looks like doing the wrong thing in the next 18 months he cops another 2 weeks (and no doubt will be looking at a $10k fine). I don't think bagging Freo, one of the very few (if not only?) clubs that appears to be taking some responsibility for it's players poor behaviour, is going to help anything.

And for the record, I think they've been too hard here. Yes, he's had priors at Collingwood, but that should have been sorted BEFORE he was signed up. I hope some of our players are smarter than they appear to be, because otherwise club imposed suspensions could become a pretty frequent occurence.

Great decision by the club. We have discipline issues on and off the field, atleast they are taking steps to correct the off field issues.

I don't understand how some people think that Tarrant has been treated harshly. His time was quite clearly up at Collingwood, and we were the only team that was willing to move heaven and earth to get him. Tarrant (and Solomon) should be extremely grateful for the opportunity they have been given by the Fremantle Football Club. We have sacrificed our long term future bringing them to the club and they should be on their best behaviour at all times.

On and off field he is representing our footy club, and rerdless of what the bloke said he shouldn't have whacked him. The last thing we needed at 5 and 7 is more media spotlight.
