Should Collingwood keep Tarrant even though he is only averaging 2.2 goals a game? I think he is one of the afl's most overated players. Will any other club even take him???

i would rather tarrant in my side than a Simmonds or Gasper.
Tarrant is not a full forward, everyone knows that, he is the only option we have that can compete and win in that position for now. Tarrant will be released to play up the field more next year, then you may judge, otherwise, take pot shots elsewhere.

I don't think any other clubs would take him , he'll most likely be playing in the DVFL next year after he's delisted.
I hope your being sarcastic

I'm jumping on the serious bandwagon my eminent friend , Tarrant is far too arrogant for my liking.
I hope Zeke reads this board so you can take my bandwagoning seriously , cheers.

If Tarrant has had such potential futher up the ground why havent they moved him there when they have had rocca in the side? Tarrant has been playing in Collingwoods forwardline for over 4 years now so surly he should be improving on his results rather than getting worse. Collingwood have only kicked over 100pts 4/13 times this year and those 4 scores are due to a large input from blake carracela and Collingwoods midfield. Tarrant should be traded before too many other clubs realise how little talent there is behind all the hype.

Tarrant is OK, 2.2 goals a game is good, we'll take him at the Dogs to take pressure off our goalkicking midfielders.

Very inconsistent and overrated player but I can't see Failingwood getting rid of him, they are rather precious about their so called 'stars'. RE MRS Alana Didak.

Got T. Cloke, Buckley, Carracella and Rocca. Should trade him as they have enough marking forwards.

3 of those 4 are past their best.

2 of those 3 that are past their best are injury prone.

So you're saying trade Tarrant, lose Bucks and Rocca through age and injury, lose Caracella through age.

Not a bad idea, not gonna get anywhere with them, better to bottom out and get some fresh, young players through the draft to then go for a real tilt at a flag in however many years.

he's a bit overatted but that's only 'cause people think he has the potential to be a star. If the Pie's got rid of him there would be a number of clubs who would take him.

IMO:
Bulldogs
Carlton
Melbourne
Geelong
Eagles

Would be the top five.

Id trade him if we could set up a deal to get a quality mid/mids.

He issnt overrated but doesnt have the killer intinct to take a game apart and doesnt exhibit the necassary commitment to push his game to higher level and has no leadership ability whatsoever.

And this is very noticeable at training where he wanders around like a skirt doing only whats necassary and nothing more, than leaving the track early as usual.

Peaheart at the minute.

Tarrant IS NOT going to be traded. He struggles with Rocca out of the team, because that obviously means he is our number 1 target. But with Rocca in the team, Taz really does play very good football because it does free him up a lot, and he plays the game he enjoys. I watch Tarrant closely each match, and more then half of the time his opponent has got hold of his jumper.

Just keep trying Taz, and the rewards would soon come your way. :)

Arrogant, overrated & a pea-heart...............& these are just the words Pie fans themselves use in this thread so far! :)

Sook, head-case & dud are a few more they can comfortably add to the list.

Lets just hope his 'special treatment' by his 'special doctors' have him fighting fit for a big Schoolies Week at Byron Bay this coming summer.
