Sorry if thread already made or wrong spot

I just think this guy is an oustanding talent hes having a huge year can play forward and midfield (ie goal kicking midfielder).

We now have an outstanding midfield no doubt however you can never have enough and hes probably one really capable HFF that can play a D.Martin type role and also have some really good stints on ball.

I believe GWS would be in favour of players rather then picks and i believe this guy is on the move and id like to be in the market if he can fit (somehow).

Do we have too many talls? can one be let loose to benefit GWS id say a defender or a ruck would be their preferrable option.

Remember he was a pick 13~ from memory maybe even higher and has probably out shone those expectations so far thus rised slightly in value.

What players could we look at offering?

Can we afford him, i dont think his 1st contract would be expected to be that huge however we will have competitors.

I just think he could maybe fill shoes of Watson, Winderlich when they move on.

I know we have Myers, Melksham, Howlett potentially for those roles, but .....

Just to show how good hes been this year in only his second year (1st year injury affected aswell)
verse
Geel (22 disposals)
Carl (22)
WCE (28)
Hawks (26 1 goal)
Adel (22)
Essendon (24 and 2 goals along with 9 marks) - Im sure a few of you saw him live

Hawks lose Buddy we and every one else are basically out of the race

I have heard that they have a fair bit of intrest in old tbell, if worst comes to worst and he wants out i could see Adams being part of some sort of a trade for him.

Gumbleton + Pears + Bellchambers + first rounder
for Adams, treleor, ward, palmer, smith + secound rounder

Who does Adams replace in our best 22? Logically?

Because Bellchambers is our number 1, and was rested this week, not omitted.

We require both Ryder and Bellchambers and Joey D will be a permanent forward once he sizes up.

The only expendable forward we have is gumby, and lets be honest, he doesn't have great currency.

And GWS won't want him after they sign Buddy.

If it cost us our first round pick, then I would wear it, but GWS have had plenty of them and I don't see it happening.

Trent McKenzie from GC is wanting to come home apparently. And being a western suburbs kid, I would be investing more time into him.

Well im gonna get squashed for saying this but the way hes tracking

He is pretty close already but certainly another year or two will be better players then Howlett, Myers and probably Melksham (In 2 years time if no serious injury has occured to him, ill happily say i got it wrong).

But i think hed be an ideal HFF replacement for Winderlich after hes finished (which wouldnt be far away).

Hes clearly ahead of Merrett, Kommer, Jetta types.

Winderlich could play closer to goal when Davey finishes and Adams takes his spot.

All possible positions he would fill.

Its hard to know exactly what else our team needs to get even better - the answer is probably nothing but will Winderlich, A.Davey still be around when we are right in the window and playing good enough footy (2014-2015)?

It's a serious question that I didn't have an answer for. You let answer makes sense.

I haven't seen enough of him to be convinced.

Mckenzie on the other hand. He could be the perfect replacement for fletch.

I would give up pears and a first rounder to get him

Is he on the table?

Maybe rewatch the essendon vs GWS game (regards to adams) otherwise every game hes been above 22 disposals, albeit possessions only, i think hes a fairly good user - nothing special like a Mckenzie, Hodge, Birchall but they arent common

Would like the kid. But I think we develop our own, with Merrett replacing Licha and Dell replacing Davey. Would take him over Kommer though

I'm glad this thread was made because it means I am not the only on wanting him and it could happen.

Gumbleton + Second Rounder?

Don't GWS will cheaply give away any talent to be honest, especially with how Gold Coast are looking now. If we were looking to recruit another young midfielder to put the finishing touch on ours I think Andrew Gaff would be worth having a crack at. Apparently we tried to get him to come home a few years ago but that was never going to happen after his very first contract. He is struggling badly this year which could affect his currency by the end of the year and with Glass nearing the end of his career and Mitch Brown seemingly on the way to the Saints I feel like the Eagles would definitely be interested in Hooker (or Pears) considering he's proven himself to be a very solid defender this season.

Bellchambers for Adams.
Ryder becomes no.1 ruck. Gumbo can stay in the team as backup ruck and potent resting forward. Has played really well in the vfl doing this

Would love Gaff. Still has a year to go on his contract though.
