Taylor walker's kicking time

Haven't noticed it TBH. If it really is an issue, there would be a number of other players doing the same thing so isolating Walker as the only offender is a bit odd.

Also, I believe that Walker and Ivan are/were in a competition with each other over who could grow the best mullet. Other players were involved (Jaensch, Martin?) but have since cut their hair.

Takes no longer than a lot of other players. A 'rule' the AFL brought out but have quickly locked back away.

Like the whole pinging players for diving 'rule'.

What happened to the 30 second rule?

Seems to take an eternity

you know the scenes in the movie, love struck couple lock eyes across the room...time slows down, the moment feels like an eternity....

that's what is happening to you when you see Walker kick for goal ;)

Multiple that by 50,000 people and we are a chance to stop the world spinning and fall off the planet :D

I haven't watched the Adelaide vs Sydney game, so I can't comment on Taylor Walker's 30 second kicking time...

...but this logic blows me away.

So you're saying Buddy Franklin's "arc" was never an issue... because there weren't a number of other players doing the same thing?

This. On the replay of the round 6 Crows vs Sydney game you can clearly hear the umpire call "20 seconds Taylor" just as Walker starts his run-up for one of his set shots in that game.

The time alloted for a player to take a set shot (to the start of the run-up) is 30 seconds. Taylor Walker is well within that time.

I can see how you may have taken what I said to mean that something is only an issue if many people are doing it. What I actually meant was that if Walker's time is an issue, many other players would be guilty of the same thing as Walker takes the same amount of time to begin his run up as any other player.

That's why I said "if it (Walker's time) is really an issue, there would be a number of other players doing the same thing (taking just as long), so isolating Walker as the only offender is a bit odd (suggesting he is taking far longer than any other player when he isn't).

I probably should have said that many other players "would be in the same boat" or "would be in trouble as well", rather than saying "doing the same thing". That's probably what made you think I meant something completely different.

Sorry, I admit, it was badly worded.

This post is end of thread!
