faulkner could possibly be a BP

Street is not a super athelete but is giving his all....
Darc has improved his goal kicking from the few shots he had today (12/12) and seemed to be intent on concentrating what he should do when forward...hence street... or skip or bandy

If it's looking more probable that Rawlings, Bandy & Darcy will play forward then we could have one the most dangerous forward lines in 2004 and be far stronger there than with Brown in 2003.

If so, then our fortunes rest on midfield defence (we're short a tagger and another big body) and backline gaps (query over BP and FB - Harris inexperienced, Croft getting too old).

The reason I think Faulkner is because he (reportedly) has the attributes, and neither him or Cooney will be spending much time in the middle in 03. Cooney FP and Faulkner BP seems a good place for them to learn something - remember, Cooney is 186cm and from his video on AFL.com, he knows where the goals are!

Yep!

The idea is that having ths same list doesn't mean you will reach the level you were at, or limit it to where you were in the past...Always helps to have influx of people, but we don't have to change EVERY position based on our ladder position in 03.

I still reckon we can be a bit top heavy in forward and just a little bare in back half... on paper....Lets wait and SEE!;)

Pavlich v Godden - Freo by stacks. Pavlich is an absolute gun, and Goddard isn't on that wavelenght yet...
Schammer v Ball - saints by a little bit
Hasleby v Hayes - Freo by a bit again
Bell v Harvey - Saints by a mile, Harvey, even in his old age, is simply brilliant.

I still think Freo have the edge however, mostly because of Subiaco.

Taswegians! One head talking to the other!

That leaves Birss, Power, Gilbee, K-Mac, Bowden, Croft, Walsh,
McMahon,Cross, Morgan and Bassett to fight it out for the remaining six spots.

Barring injury, McMahon is a certainy to be in the 22 for the first round.

I dont think Jordee is a certainty at all. He didnt do enough in 2003 to be claimed as a certainty.

On Faulkner I think it was Mr. Walkers interview with the players (could be completly wrong) but someone said a club official had Cameron down as a definate for Round 1.

Hargreaves Harris Bassett

----------------Smith------------

Murphy Grant Koops

Gilbee West Cooney

Rawlings Johnson

Bandy Walsh Faulkiner

Darcy Hahn Giansiracusa

McMahon Bowden Street Birss

Smith plays loose across half-back. This allows Rawlings and Johnson to play between centre and half-forward. Walsh shares F/F with Bowden.

This is a top six team given a fair run with injuries

Top 12 or 13 maybe... you's are dreaming if yas are considering the 8 next year, give yous 2 or 3 years maybe
