The Stanton issue is a little worrying. I'm not sure what the injury is but it's probably one of those ankles were they are good to go for an hour or so by game day but take a week or two to get over.

I reckon we'll see JJ in and Stanton out.

It is. They get most of their drive from Shaw and Swan. Stop them, Thomas, Didak and Rocca and we'll win. I doubt we will though.

Not particularly worried about Rocca, rarely fires a shot against us and when he does he usually sprays his kicks for goal all over the place.

Im pretty confident we can get the ball out of the centre enough to feed the Lloyd and Lucas show.

Lucas will be looking forward to a re-match with the dirty scragger.

Pace is good, but it isn't everything.

Cloke will be a real worry, so will Scott Burns digging it out of the middle.

They are a further developed side, so a win against them would be a big surprise......more so that we will be equal on wins!

I guess that will depend on which boots he has on.

I would have thought that the way Cloke is marking them, that if he can kick 4 against a backline with Egan/Hunt/Hurley/Scarlett/Milburn/Mackie, it wouldn't exactly be mission impossible to kick 4 against us.

The Cloke match up is difficult. Fletch is a good macth up, however this would maybe restrict his ability to run from the backline. What are our other options for Cloke? Maybe McPhee or Mal? Although I doubt Mal could run with him. I think Cloke will almost be our most important match up.

It's the same story as last week. If we can get enough of the ball to Lloyd and Lucas we will win. Last week the delivery into the forward line was pathetic, hopefully the team can improve this week and we can come away with the points.

The harder we run the better we are obvioulsy, there aren't many better forward lines and our backline doesn't match up too badly against the Pies either, but if we are out-numbered constantly out wide on the flanks of the MCG again then we're screwed, especially if we use it like we did last week

We have Lloyd and Lucas up forward, so we must not stuff around with the ball, we must go long and direct to them, and with Lovett hanging around, there should be even more reason to get the ball quickly and put the backline under pressure.

I think another wildcard player we should keep an eye on is Clark. Watching Collingwood last week he follows up on his possesions for the full length of the field and is very tidy with his possesions. Considering how Cooney carved us up last week running on with this type of play I wouldn't want him to slip under the radar.

The reason he did was because Slatts played injured on him.
