big bootaaaaah usually creates this thread, but he on a SC sabbaical this year.

How many trades do you have left? Let the countdown begin!

I still have 30. Not sure if i will use any this week. I'll wait and see how today pans out

I have 28!

One was correcting a **** up that saw me start Byrne in error and the other was forced by Libba injury.

Will be making one rookie correction and one structural correction for round 3.

29, with the forced trade of Crouch to come. It will be to Dusty though so it's almost an upgrade.

There seems to be a common belief on here that trading in the first couple of rounds is some kind of crime and that those who do it should be scorned, but it's actually one of the three legitimate times people should consider trading. Obviously the other two are to replace premos who get mid to long term injuries and to make upgrades from rookies to keepers at the appropriate time. But in order to afford those upgrades it's vital you start with the very best cash cows before that first price rise and trading to ensure you have the best rookies is not only acceptable but vital.

There's also nothing wrong with making a corrective trade to a premo as long as there's strong evidence to support it and it's not just a kneejerk reaction to a single bad score. For example last season I started with Matthew Boyd. The alarm bells started ringing when he took the field in a helmet and they were deafening by the end of the game when he struggled to about 60. He was a premo I'd chosen for good reasons though so although the impulse was to trade him I didn't. The following week his performance and score was at least as bad again and I was almost certain age and a changing role had made him a poor choice, but still I did the "right" thing and resisted the urge to trade. Of course after a third poor game his price dropped so far I could no longer afford to trade him to the good option I'd had the previous week and I ended up being stuck with him for most of the year while he almost single handedly destroyed my SC year. So there are certainly times when trading a premo prior to round 3 before he loses value is a wise thing to do. Maybe people should be asking themselves, is Hibberd this year's Matthew Boyd?

I have 29 left.
Gonna trade 2 tonight.

Redden was and is a mistake. Plus I'm gonna sideways trade a premo. **** it why not hey.

30.

Don't even think I will trade this round either.

I have all the good rookies and my premos are killing it! :moustache:
Thinking the same. No decent options for Naughton so may as well hold him until guys like Coffield and Cole play (both potential ins this week I reckon)

I'll still consider Garlett -> Ryan
