You'd think Valenti would have to play after being elevated. I'd also pick Jamar (just but it doesn't bother me if they go with PJ), Warnock (over Carroll, once again just and it doesn't bother me) and Buckley. I can't see any use of playing 2 tall backmen on the bench or 2 ruckmen on the bench, the midfielders need more rotations than anyone so 2 of them should always be on the bench.

Garland sucked at the beginning of the year, but, he showed a bit last week. Worth persisting with. Valenti will get a crack and Whelan is still "ill". He only played about 15 minutes last week before going off.

Time for Carroll to have a stint in the VFL. He's really only been there by default. God help him if Martin progresses well enough. No real need for him against the Crows, give him a week at Sandy, and depending on our needs for the hawks, maybe even keep him there.

I like the look of your bench there , personally I rate Buckley aswell as Bode.

I wish Godders was still in the side, at least his desire to be there, unlike many others. Buckley though has earnt his second chance this season with strong successive VFL performances.

As for Carroll, I'd drop him for team balance reasons. The crows forward line doesn't require Rivers, Frawley, Warnock and Carroll, and with Warnock and Carroll on the bench, I've a feeling one of them will be left out. With the changes you suggest our bench would be Valenti, PJ, Carroll and Warnock which is way too tall. You say he's performed well under the pressure he gets every week, but still he is continually getting 5,6,7 goals kicked against him. If he's not stopping his opponant, why is he in the team? Must be his line-breaking pace, or pinpoint accuracy, or awesome awareness. I said before, he's there by default. Time to give the big jobs to Frawley, and Warnock has done more than enough over the last couple of weeks to keep his spot.

People say we should reward our side for winning 2 weeks ago, bullshit. We played a half of football. People forget how bad we were early. The team balance isn't right yet, so I'm all for 3 changes.

Give Buckley a chance, his pace can be a genuine weapon, remember his goal from 60+ into a wind against Geelong in the NAB cup. Wheatley butchers the ball plenty of times anyway and his defensive skills are questionable.

Carroll should be dropped, his skills are even worse than Buckley's. He's been alright but at the moment Warnock is in good touch and Frawley and Garland's potential put them ahead of him.

I remember that. But I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week. More of his kicks miss targets than they hit. I'd rather a player get 16 touches where 15 hit a target than get 33 like he did in the VFL and turn it over to the opposition all the time.

However I'm going so well at the moment that not only will Buckley play but Carroll will get dropped as well.

We're too tall to play against adelaide who are a running team with a small forward line.

Definitely Wheatley for Valenti, and Buckley for Carroll/Warnock. If they are going to play Garland in defence then one of them has to go.

You want us to play Frawley, Garland, Rivers & Warnock against one of the smallest attack in the league? They've got Tippett at FF, who's a ruckman at 201cm and then the rest of their forward line is 185cm or less, that backline is just too tall.

Bruce is named back there because he'll probably tag Goodwin. That moves Warnock to the bench and Jamar or Johnson out for Buckley. We need some more run against adelaide, I'm not his biggest fan but Buckley will give us that.

How i would like to see the team line up, however buckley may make way for jamar and carroll for warnock. But agree we can't go to all or else the crows will run us off our feet.

I believe we played three rucks at one stage or another during the past couple seasons.

Don't exactly remember how it turned out but I remember Jamar, Johnson and White all playing in the same game.
