Before you get excited this isn't the official team (someone can post that later). Just giving my thoughts on how the squad may look later on tonight. As I wont be on when it does get released.

B: King Thursfield Moore
HB: McMahon Schulz Newman
C: Tambling Johnson Deledio
HF: Morton Richo Edwards
F: Brown Polak Riewoldt
R: Simmonds Tuck Foley
I: from White Hyde Pattison McGuane Hughes Connors Tivendale

Think after 8-9 goals in the last 2 weeks Hughes might make the 25 along with Tivendale and Connors. Wallace again reinforces the message to players like Bowden and Pettifer that reputations count for little and performaces are what gets the rewards.

Don't think there will be any real changes to the actual 22 unless McGuane fails to come up.

Unchanged lineup IMO. Who would you drop for Hughes?
If McGuane fails to come up I was thinking that they could bring in Hughes but then I wonder if that would make us too top heavy in regards to talls. So maybe Tivendale or Connors come in to give us more options in terms of midfield rotations.

if McGuane doesnt come up he will go with Hughes. Insurance if Polak is needed in the back line if plan a and b arent working. Gotta feeling connors might get the nod over Hyde too. Fight fire with fire, they have skilled deliverers, so we bring in a laser. ;)

I heard that at training today Hughes was in the rehab group. Mcguane is fine. Also Bowden, Tivendale, Pettifer, Jackson and Howat trained with the main squad today. All the players that played against Freo were in this group. So the 3 players will no doubt be coming from these players i just mentioned.
There should be no change to the team. We won and we will stay with a winning team.
If they drop any of Riewoldt, Edwards and White i will be filthy.
I want to see every player earn their games.
Another intersting thing i read on eye of the tiger about what Wallace said about Hyde, ill post it here.

Surprise packet
In a game where we had many good players, I believe the opposition would have been more surprised that Chris Hyde went out and did a tagging job on Byron Schammer. We felt that on the vast expanses of Subiaco Oval, if we could stop some of the Dockers’ running types, we’d go a long way towards beating them. ‘Hydey’ set himself for Schammer all week, and he did a really solid job, restricting him to just six kicks for the match. The bonus for us was that Hydey was able to hit the scoreboard with three goals. So, we had a sound defensive job undertaken, plus he added a solid attacking flavor to his game as well.

Maybe he can become one of our taggers.............

The other bonus for us and for Hydey is that Schammer was on one leg...and went off...like get real TW. Hyde kicked 3 goals and did a good job in getting them, apart from that he was tagging thin air. ;)

We can't replace McGuane with Hughes. Hughes is a foward and McGuane is a back. Polak is too slow to go back esspecially against the Doggies quicker small foward line. Polak has no real match-up down back.

He could go third up or play on Minson. I think Shulz will play on back on Minson, McGuane (if fit) on Whelsh, Thursty on Murphy and Moore on Johnson.
