really shows how bad injury has hit us, the 3 emerg's are probably the weakest looking line up of emergencies ive ever seen at AFL level, and players like foley, chaffey, white, stafford, and tivendale keep there spots.

Foley, White and Tivendale have been shocking in disposal of the footy in the past 5 weeks or more, foley and white are hard at it and have a dip but we cant even drop them and let them work on it at VFL level becuase we don't have players to replace them

just shows how crap we are

roach, humm and rodan had spots waiting for them if they played a cracker for coburg and they just didnt do the business

if their not gonna get a game now they never ****ing will

This team looks fine to me. For all those who are seeking wholesale changes did you bother to look at the Coburg game last week? (assuming you are in Melbourne).

Regardless of how bad we think Tivs and chaff were last week they are miles above what presented at City Oval last Saturday.

Players should earn there spots if they are better than what is already in the seniors.

Maybe White's disposal lacked but fought hard but.....

why would you even think of dropping Foley after his game last week? I reckon he was one our best.

Wrong Staff, Foley and White might have lacked in judgement, happens to youngsters who have played a handful of senior games, Tiv has been doing just that for the last 5 years man.
Like cant understand it, is TW waiting for some kind of divine intervention with Tiv? Is he expecting something to change, that hasnt for 5 years?
He goes to ground 8 times out of 10, he misses targets 8 times out 10, he takes the wrong option 8 times out fo 10, and you can suggest that there is no one that can improve all that to 7 out of 10? ;)

What is wrong with Foley? At least he has a go.

I would have liked to see Chaffey dropped but as most have said our Coburg players are playing crap, which sucks when we have duds like Chaffey turning the ball over constantly in the ones. Although, this week we should win, I'm quite confident

foley and white arent doing anything wrong

hyde's spot has been up for grabs for about a month now but the fact that there is no one better to come in shows that our depth is crap

I might suggest that your figures are somewhat exaggerated. :p

Face it, if you dropped Tivendale and brought in any of the fit options playing midfield for Coburg right now, the team would suffer for it. Say what you like about him, but unlike Rodan, Humm, Roach and even Jackson, he is capable of actually getting his hands on the pill 20 times in a game, running out a full game and breaking even with an opponent of reasonable quality.

Please don't tell me that he kicks 16 of them to the opposition, because that's obviously not true. ProStats has him at 3.2 errors per game, a mere 0.1 in front of Shane Tuck, who never gets canned for his disposal. It's all about perception.

He's no star, but he's easily earning a game in our side.

It is also harder to kick a 50m pass to a leading forward than it is to deliver a 15m pass in the backline or a 2m handball, or to kick a clearance over your shoulder. His errors are going to far more visible because of the position he plays and the role he fulfills.

But do ProStats tell you the number of times he misses better options as he's too busy trying to turn onto his left foot. Do they tell you that a clanger from an outside player is normally punished more than an inside player, and that the demoralising impact on the team is far greater?

Tivendale is part of the old RFC he is needed for as long as it takes for a more equiped kid to replace him, he is not part of our future.
